AMY'S LASH LOUNGE

My client/friend Amy is a lash technician who works from out of her house, she asked me to design her a room in her house for her, her 2 Cats, 3 Boston Terriers, and all her clients can all enjoy. I wanted to make the space feel really calm and relaxing.

Here are a couple before pictures, as you can see the space felt really small and cluttered.

She was on a budget but my first order of business was to de clutter, and paint. We painted the room Benjamin Moore American White. I wanted to keep the space really bright with lots of natural lighting. Painting a room a light colour also makes the space feel a lot bigger.

And then I started my shopping process. Amy had a few pieces she wanted to keep in her room but she just told me to "just do my thing", she needed a cart to place her supplies on so thats where I started and from there everything just kind of fell together. Most of everything you see here was either hers or bought from home sense & ikea.

Super easy ways to cover furniture is blankets! Amy had a chair that didn't go with my theme so I just bought a cheap blanket from Ikea and threw a cute pillow on it from Home Sense and it looks like an entirely new chair.
