A LITTLE PAINT GOES A LONG WAY
This past weekend I decided I had enough of my blue room! I really hadn't unpacked since moving back from Toronto, I have been half living in boxes.. So after months, and months of procrastinating I went to Benjamin Moore and bought some Portland Grey paint... That's always the first step to a new space.. PAINT!
As you can clearly see in my before, the space was super cluttered and VERY BLUE..
I am super happy with the way it turned out, it's the perfect girly beige/grey. I picked this colour because it matched my pink and grey decor pieces.
Speaking of decor...
My bed & book shelf are from IKEA, along time ago but they have similar stuff.
The mirror above my bed is from Home Sense, as well as my bedside bench, and the table lamp beside my bed.
Those awesome tiles are Sid Dickens tiles, everyone should own a few they are great collectors pieces!
My bedding is from Pottery Barn, the skull pillow is from Urban Barn.
My desk is where I spend most of my time, so it's important for me to keep it as organized as possible.
My lamp, chair, picture frames and flowers were all bought from Home Sense.
The Buddha head is from Scentsy, smells amazing too!
The Desk was from Urban Barn.
My super cute little deer hook is from this little shop in Toronto on Queen West, can't for the love of me remember the name of it.
The magnetic board, and eraser board is from Etsy, I can't remember which lady made mine but theres a million to choose from!
My makeup organizes are just some old mason jars and I have a tall plastic organizer from For Space Sake.
Pink fuzzy rug is from Home Sense.
Dresser was from EQ3.
Wardrobe is from IKEA.
Marilyn was just from Amazon.
This was a super easy and quick project for me, all my decor stayed the same it just took a layer of paint for everything to pull itself together. I am SO happy with my space, sometimes you just need a clean slate.
